Following on from the False Saffron Milkcaps (see below) I came across a Fibrecap which I calculated to be Inocybe sindonia, fairly common. This family is mostly deadly poisonous so I stuck with my Twirl and packet of crisps.
On my way back to collect the shopping in Milton Keynes, (boy it's tough being a husband), I detected this rather large Puffball which I believe to be a mature Pestle Puffball Lycoperdon excipuliforme.
