Chinnor Hill, Bucks 27th August 2017

Today I went up the chalk hills escarpment to find Chiltern Gentian, which I did along with Autumn Genetian so that started the day well. There is a small beech based woodland on the way back to the car park and came by these delightful fungi including my first ever Magpie Inkcap Coprinopsis picacea.

Russula nobilis

Macrocystidia cucumis

Fuligo septica var. flava

Coprinopsis picacea

Macrolepiota procera

Lactarius torminosus
